The Show will, for the second year running, have two arenas: The International Arena which hosts the FEI World Cup™ Qualifiers in Jumping, Dressage and Driving as well as another eight 5* Jumping classes across the event plus the LeMieux Puissance, the Markel Jockeys Jumping, the Kennel Club Dog Agility, The Shetland Pony Grand National and some sensational equestrian displays. The New Horizon Plastics London Arena will play host to the second year of the London International Showing Series, as well as running a programme of Masterclasses and Kennel Club Dog Agility.
Show Jumping commences at ExCeL London on Wednesday 18 December with the return of the exhilarating LeMieux Puissance, which was last year won by superstar duo Guy Williams and Mr Blue Sky for the third year running. The jumping action then continues with the Under-25 British Championship on Thursday 19 December, where exciting up-and-coming British talent will fight it out for the prestigious title. Friday 20 December then welcomes a double act of CSI5* Show Jumping thrills, starting with the Christmas Pudding Speed Stakes in the afternoon, and followed by the famous London Grand Prix that evening, an event visitors will not want to miss. The weekend is then capped-off in style with the Longines FEI Jumping World CupTM on Sunday 22 December.
The FEI Dressage World Cup™ supported by Horse & Hound, takes place on the first two days of the Show, with the Grand Prix opening the Show on the morning of Wednesday 18 December. The evening of Thursday 19 December will showcase the Freestyle to Music, won last year by British Olympic star Charlotte Dujardin CBE, riding Imhotep, after an awe-inspiring performance on her return to the Show having had a baby.

The New Horizon Plastics London Arena – which launched last year – will play host once again to a variety of classes including the London International Showing Series, as well as Kennel Club Dog Agility classes including the Crufts Agility and Jumping Qualifiers and Kennel Club Starters Jumping classes. Alongside these, visitors can also experience masterclass sessions each day demonstrating skills development in Dressage, Training, Eventing, Jumping, and Driving.
Fan favourites, the Shetland Pony Grand National and Kennel Club Dog Agility, are back once again and will feature in the International Arena every day. The Brilliance Horse Auction will also take place on Saturday evening where world-class Sport Horses will be auctioned off to both a live audience and online through live streaming.
Away from the glitz and glamour of the arena competitions, there is much to keep spectators entertained and make a day of their visit. Those looking for last-minute Christmas presents will have plenty of options from over 200 retailers on-site selling a wide range of gifts, from fashion, food, and jewellery to all things equestrian. Meanwhile, The Live Zone is back and not to be missed for those who love getting up-close to their favourite riders and influencers and listening to advice from their sport’s industry gurus.
Show Director, Simon Brooks-Ward stated: “Last year’s London International Horse Show was a great success, and we are really looking forward to the change up in the programme this year where we will see a real actioned-packed Friday, which culminates in the incredible London Grand Prix that night. We have established ourselves in our new home which has allowed us to expand the competition programme and the appeal to our audience through the successful introduction of the second arena.”
