GCL Team -ROME GLADIATORS
After a few seasons out of the spotlight, Rome Gladiators are back with a bang for 2022. An all-new lineup, featuring some faces new to the GCL circuit, is sure to catch the eye of the other teams and fans across the world as ones to watch for this exciting 2022 season.

Their lineup features Edward Levy (FRA), Irish fan favourite Shane Breen (IRE), Fernando Martinez Sommer (MEX), Nina Mallevaey (FRA), Pieter Clemens (BEL) and U25 Zoe Conter (BEL). The Gladiators will be galloping through the season keen to make their mark once again.
Edward Levy: Competing for France: Age 27: Edward transfers to Rome Gladiators for the 2022 season, having competed for Valkenswaard United in 2019. This popular team return to the circuit for the new season and will be looking to make their mark alongside the other teams.
Shane Breen: Competing for Ireland: From Limerick: Age 47: Having competed for New York Empire and Miami Celtics, Shane now moves to Rome Gladiators for the 2022 season as the team returns to the circuit. With a number of new faces on the team, Shane will need to impart some experience to his teammates in their bid for glory in 2022.
Fernando Martinez Sommer: Competing for Mexico: Age 32: arrives at his debut GCL season in 2022 riding for Rome Gladiators alongside a number of exciting new faces. The team will be relying on this fresh talent and some more experienced riders to kick their season off to a strong start.
Nina Mallevaey: Competing for France: Age 22: 2022 will be Nina's first season on the LGCT and GCL circuit, and she will be building on her existing competition experience, including Youth Nations Cups, in this new year. She rides for Rome Gladiators in 2022, alongside a host of exciting new talent looking to start strongly against some of the more established teams on the circuit.
Pieter Clemens: Competing for Belgium: Age 27: 2022 is Pieter's first season on the LGCT and GCL circuit, despite his experience, including World Cup competitions and World Championships. He rides for Rome Gladiators in 2022, alongside a wealth of exciting new talent.
Zoe Conter: Competing for Belgium: Age 23: Young rider Zoe Conter makes her debut in GCL competitions in 2022. She comes forward as the U25 rider for Rome Gladiators and already has impressive experience under her belt which is sure to be key to the success of the Gladiators.
