INTRODUCING THE 2023 GCL TEAM - The New York Empire

GCL Team Owner Georgina Bloomberg will herself compete alongside, champion athletes in Scott Brash, Spencer Smith, and Denis Lynch. Jodie Hall McAteer returns as the impressive U25 talent to New York Empire, joined by Frank Schuttert, a new athlete added to the starting list for this ultra competitive team.

Georgina Bloomberg Competing for: United States of America  Age: 40

Georgina has been competing on the GCL team circuit since its inception in 2016. Following two seasons with Miami Glory, she joined the New York Empire team in 2018. She heads up the team again in 2023 alongside familiar New York Empire faces and some new talent in Frank Schuttert, and will be looking for a stronger finish this year in the overall season standings.

Denis Lynch Competing for: Ireland Age: 46

Denis is another experienced rider of New York Empire, having spent two seasons competing on the GCL competition before joining the New York Empire team in 2019. He returns for the team again in 2023, alongside regular teammates Georgina Bloomberg, Scott Brash and Spencer Smith, U25 Jodie Hall McAteer and will now be joined by Frank Schuttert. This is looking like a super competitive lineup for the year ahead.

Scott Brash Competing for: United Kingdom Age: 37

Scott Brash first competed in the GCL team series for Miami Glory, before transferring to New York Empire alongside his team-mate Georgina Bloomberg. The extremely experienced British rider is a key fixture on the team.

Spencer Smith Competing for: United States of America Age: 26

Spencer enters his fourth season riding for the New York Empire team. Now bringing four years of GCL experience to the table, Spencer helps to position New York Empire as a force to be reckoned with in 2023! 

Jodie Hall McAteer Competing for: United Kingsom Age: 22

Jodie starts her third year on the GCL in 2023, returning as the U25 member of the impressive New York Empire line-up for the year ahead. 

Frank Schuttert Competing for: Netherlands Age: 29

Frank joins his third GCL team for the 2023 season, bringing his wealth of experience to New York Empire. Frank will be riding alongside an impressive line-up in Scott Brash, Spencer Smith, Denis Lynch. and  Jodie Hall McAteer as the team have their sights set on glory for the year ahead.
