There are a range of ticket options to help you enjoy Defender Burghley your way.
General Admission tickets can be purchased for each of the four days individually, or choose a four-day season ticket, or for the ultimate Burghley experience gain exclusive access and benefits for two people on all four days with Membership and Caravan Membership.
Return of Flexi-Tickets and e-ticketing
The popular Flexi-Ticket returns for Defender Burghley for 2024. This ticket allows you to attend on one day of your choice - Thursday, Friday, or Sunday.
As in 2023, the event will be using an e-ticketing system to reduce queuing and entry times while also allowing those who have pre-purchased tickets to enter via dedicated entry lanes.

Fun for the whole family
For younger visitors there will be plenty to do at Defender Burghley 2024.
We are introducing pottery painting, hosting a story-teller and bringing back dog agility, Buddy's Activity Trail, face painting and, of course, the incredibly popular Shetland Pony Grand National.
Insights from special guests
The Insights Stage at Defender Burghley has a new purpose for 2024.
In addition to hearing from competitors and big names from the world of equestrian sport, visitors will also be able to gain insights from experts in gardening, fashion and lifestyle, too.
NEW five-star expert guided course walks
Another exciting new addition are the long or short format guided course walks.
Available to book in the new and improved online Box Office when purchasing your tickets, visitors have the opportunity to join a five-star expert on a walk of this year's cross-country course designed specifically for the 2024 Defender Burghley Horse Trials by Derek di Grazia.
The short walk will last around 90-minutes and will take in at least five feature fences; while the full course walk will cover all of the challenges, lasting around three hours.
