Scandinavian Vikings had an extremely strong finish to the 2021 season, with an incredible win in Samorin. They'll be looking to build on that success with a strong start in 2022, and have recruited three new riders to the team to help them achieve their goals.

Geir Gulliksen (NOR) returns to the helm riding for this strong team alongside Olympic and 2022 season star Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and Evelina Tovek (SWE). They are joined by speed merchant Yuri Mansur (BRA), jordy van Massenhove (BEL) and U25 rider Ingrid Gjelsten (NOR) in a bid for glory in the 2022 season.

Geir Gulliksen: Competing for Norway: from Buskerud: Age 62: Geir enters another consecutive year competing in the GCL team series. As the team manager of the Scandinavian Vikings, as well as a key team rider, he will look to build on his team's strong performance in 2019 and 2021 in the 2022 season. The team finished 9th in the overall season championship in 2021, and impressively won the final leg of the tour in Samorin. Can they build on those exciting performances in 2022?
Yuri Mansur: Competing for Brazil: Age 42: Yuri transfers from Doha Falcons to Scandinavian Vikings for the 2022 season alongside a stellar lineup of talent. He rides alongside team manager Geir Gulliksen, Henrik von Eckermann, and Evelina Tovek to name a few. The Vikings will be looking to capitalise on their excellent end to the 2021 season with a win in Samorin with a strong start to 2022.
Henrik Von Eckermann: Competing for Sweden: from Riesenbeck: Age 40: Henrik featured in the 2017 and 2019 runnings of the GCL circuit, and in 2022 joins Scandinavian Vikings, who have a very competitive lineup for this new season, looking to capitalise on their successes particularly towards the end of the 2021 season. Henrik will be hoping to get the team off to a strong start for 2022.
Evelina Tovek: Competing for Sweden: Age 28: Evelina started in the GCL team competition as the U25 rider since 2017. By 2019 she was a key rider for Scandinavian Vikings, competing in eleven events of the regular season. With a great win alongside Geir in Monaco 2019 and consistent results throughout the season, Evelina is back for the fourth consecutive season with the Scandinavian Vikings.
Jordy van Massenhove: Competing for Belgium: Age 26: Jordy van Massenhove is a new face to the LGCT and GCL circuit in 2022, but has a wealth of experience at the top level. He rides for Scandinavian Vikings in the 2022 season, and will be hoping to make his mark in his debut GCL season.
Ingrid Gjelsten: Competing for Norway: Age 20: Ingrid is fresh to the LGCT and GCL circuits for 2022, riding as an U25 rider for Scandinavian Vikings. She will be looking to learn from her experienced teammates in this new season for the competitive team.
