ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 Herning (DEN) Dressage - British take early second-day lead, but team title still hangs in the balance

A super test from Charlotte Dujardin and the relatively inexperienced Imhotep has lifted Great Britain to pole position going into this afternoon’s (Sunday) final stages of the Blue Hors FEI Team Dressage Championship 2022 in Herning, Denmark.

Posting 77.407% for the second-highest score of the Grand Prix which decides the team title, Dujardin’s effort leaves Team Great Britain on a running tally of 153.385 ahead of Spain in second, Austria in third and Portugal in fourth place.

But with two riders still to compete for most of the top nations, and the best three scores to count, it remains a wide-open contest and the heat will be turned up when The Netherlands’ Marieke van der Putten steps into the Stutteri Ask arena with Torveslettens Titanium RS2.
