Day 1 of the 2023 Longines Global Champions Tour season kicked off in spectacular style
An Irish win to start the weekend!

As an opening of the CSI5* LGCT Season the five-star combinations were offered two 1.45m classes. In it Ireland Denis Lynch aboard Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky) and Francisco José Mesquita Musa with Carte de Blue PS Marathon jumped to victory. Only the class of Musa counted for Ranking points.
Denis Lynch and the 11-year-old Cornets Iberio (Cornet Obolensky) jumped to victory in the 1.45m class with exactly two seconds advantage on Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann and Calizi (Cellestial).
